About September

Homeschooling with a clear plan and people who care

Our mission

Every parent deserves the tools to teach with confidence.

Between us, we have spent decades tutoring, homeschooling, and advising thousands of families. The families who thrived had three things: a plan that fit their child, a schedule that fit their life, and paperwork that stayed handled. September brings all three to every family.

What we do

Learning, compliance, and records, together

Curriculum that fits your child

We compare options by learning needs, values, format, and budget, then recommend what fits.

Syllabi and weekly plans

We turn your chosen curriculum into subject syllabi and printable weekly lessons.

A schedule shaped by your life

We set the workload around your time, then help you revise it when life changes.

State requirements handled

We prepare supported forms, track deadlines, total attendance, and organize records.

Who we are

Educators who build what families need

September is led by educators who have each spent their careers proving that personalized education changes lives.

Tiffany Sorya

Founder & CEO, Novel Education Group

Tiffany's conviction that great students are made began with her own story. A first-generation college student, she struggled through her freshman year, then built the study skills that carried her to graduation and became her life's work.

She founded Novel Education Group in 2014 and has spent more than a decade guiding K-12 families through personalized homeschooling. Her approach builds school around each child's passions and pace, often in about fifteen focused hours a week, so learning fits the family instead of the other way around.

A homeschool advocate and software developer, he leads September's technology and has spent the last several years building AI-powered personalized learning tools. He believes families who teach at home deserve the same quality of guidance his private students receive.

What we believe

The convictions behind September

Learning is personal

Every child learns in their own way and at their own pace. A plan built around one specific child will always serve them better than a plan built for an average.

Great students are made

Study skills, focus, and confidence are learnable. With clear structure and steady encouragement, every child can become a strong, curious learner.

Parents are capable teachers

With the right plan, clear state guidance, and organized records, parents can deliver an education that rivals any classroom.
